Jumpsuit

Got to wear this beautiful Zara jumpsuit again for one of my birthday celebrations. As always, keeping it fairly minimal with the design and colour, but I love the casual fit as the chiffon material dresses it up a bit. Despite being able to wear this only at the weekend and not being cold, it has now dropped about 10 degrees and I can't wait to wear my knits and layers again.

Thigh highs

Started my 18th birthday celebrations last night by going to see Shrek the Musical with my friend (also for her 18th, how mature of us...) and my mum. It was such a good musical though, we both love Shrek and it was hilarious.

I bought these new boots as my first ever thigh high winter pair, which I am in love with! And although the weather hasn't yet been freezing enough to wear them I thought pairing them with a mini skirt would be a good enough compromise for the weather at the moment. Birthday celebrations continue tonight and over the weekend, so excited!!

LIFE UPDATE

FRANCE

MALLORCA

YNOT

(All pictures taken on my iPhone and disposable cameras)

Basically I haven't been on here for a lonnnnnng time! So here's a quick update of my summer - mainly events at the beginning.

First I went to Montgenevre in the Alps in France for 2 weeks work experience with a friend. We generally did chalet work every morning (cleaning, food prep etc) which was pretty easy and everyone we met was so nice. We got to go to a few towns and Turin one day, as we had most afternoons off. Turin was so beautiful, and despite the weather being so cold in the mountains during the first week, the weather in Italy was so hot!

A couple days after getting home I went to Mallorca with a few of my girl friends for sun, sea and fun! Which was exactly how it ended up being.. We stayed in Palma Nova but went out to Magaluf every night - surprisingly it wasn't as horrendous as the tv makes out, but we just had a really good fun girly holiday.

My last event of the summer was our local festival - Ynot Festival - and although I was working every day the nights were so much fun. And there were some pretty good bands there this year: White Lies, Razorlight, Newton Faulkner and Dizzee Rascal was amazing!

I was meant to go to Leeds festival but had to sell my ticket which I was gutted about, but I watched from home and my friends had an awesome time so I am definitely going next year!

Now.. I'm getting back to my A Levels, writing personal statements, applying for uni etc.. All the boring/stressy stuff. But mainly looking forward to my 18th this month!!
