Canon 360 shoot I took part in at London Fashion Weekend, turned out pretty cool actually. And apparently reminded my family of the matrix!

London Fashion Weekend

This Saturday I went to London for London Fashion Weekend - the smaller version of LFW, lets say, (and more affordable too!) It was a really good experience and the venue at Somerset House was fantastic, each room inside the building held a different designer's pop-up shop, such as: Kat Maconie shoes, Levi's jeans, Vintage Fur Company and Lola Rose jewellery - a few of them shown above. Around the pop-up shops were hand picked items by Susie Bubble (blogger) such as the colourful silk scarf shown in the picture, where you can see in the background the handwritten note from Susie herself. There was also a book shop, where I wanted to buy everything... of course (but it was my birthday the next day so I was spoilt with fashion books - post to come)
Outside there was the show space which held the catwalk and other things to take part in, including Henry Holland's House of Holland ice cream van, it was bright and funky with a clothes rack outside showing off some of his latest iconic designs. The catwalk itself was called 'Trend' showing 4 different trends including 'Pretty in Pink', 'Back to Nature', 'Shape Up' and 'Victorianna'. Pretty in Pink and Victorianna were my favourite overall as I love the pale pink shades that are in right now, especially a fluffy jumper or long coat - which seem to be every at the moment! And black seems to be my most worn colour for the past couple of years, so a high neck, long sleeve dress or jumper in black seemed just perfect to me. All styled by Pandora Lennard, hair by Toni & Guy and make up by Maybelline (who both had stalls at the event). Sorry for the bad quality of the catwalk photos - still trying to get to grips with my camera and the quick snap didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped.

Lately, I've been thinking...

Over the last week, not much has been going on. Although last weekend I went to the local festival, 'Y-Not' which was really good (first picture). Apart from that, my week's excitement has come from new collections being brought out by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (childhood idols, and still are..) in collaboration with Bik Bok, and also Rosie for Autograph's anniversary Autumn/Winter lingerie collection is out soon too - above are a couple of my favourite pieces.

The next week is very busy; off to London on Tuesday for a couple of days, then staying with family on Thursday and meeting friends in Brighton for a long weekend on Friday. 

Also had my hair cut short (first picture) eek.
